These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the VocaMonkey app, website at vocamonkey.com, and the VocaMonkey Chrome extension (together, the "Service"), operated by VocaMonkey ("we", "our", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for learning vocabulary. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service.
3. VocaMonkey Pro Subscription
VocaMonkey Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks premium features (unlimited AI card generation, unlimited pronunciation audio, unlimited dictionary lookups, advanced analytics, and more).

Length & price: Monthly (US$4.99 / month) or Yearly (US$29.99 / year, about US$2.50 / month). Prices are shown in your local currency at the point of purchase and may vary by region.
Free trial: New subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial. No charge is made until the trial ends. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and you are charged.
Auto-renewal: Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing & canceling: You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Web purchases: If you subscribed on vocamonkey.com (via card or bank transfer) rather than through the App Store, manage that subscription on vocamonkey.com.
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to upload harmful, infringing, or abusive content, attempt to disrupt the Service, or access it through automated means except as expressly permitted.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the vocabulary, decks, and content you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content to provide the Service.
7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
